And a Year is Gone

So, I don't know how it happened, but I have a one year old baby. The day just came and went - and now we are working on the 2nd year of his life.

He has done so much this past year, I really hope I never forget any of it. I have done my best to capture all the moments, big and small, on "film" and in video. I have made sure to write all the big things down & even some of the smaller things.

His new big thing is walking! Today at 1 year and 3 days old my son has started to just walk around. We were at the doctors office and he was playing on a toy, he looked towards the chairs and just went for them. It was an amazing moment. And an odd choice of venue in my opinion!

Every single day he is learning something new, and I hope that even though he wont remember the moments, that he remembers how much fun growing up is, and how much fun we are having right along side of him.

I Took a Trip to GA

So, I was a crazy mom and took my son to GA - alone. We went to meet some awesome mommies and their awesome babies!

We had a blast. But getting there on the plane was interesting. I was that mom, you know the one with the crying baby? Yea. Like 20 minutes of crying. It was terrible. But then he slept the rest of the time.

Coming home I took no chances, I upgraded to first class, we litterally had our own seat! The only one in the "row". Grayson thought it would be awesome to fall asleep while taxing to the runway, he wasn't even awake for take off! And he slept until we were taxing back into our terminal in Philly. It was an amazing flight.

But I have learned - I will not do that alone again anytime soon! Planning a trip to STL soon, Steve will be going with us.

I met some amazing women and have made a life long friend for sure. I wouldn't take back any minute of that trip and it was a great 4 days with just Grayson and me. It made me really love my job as a mom.
