Nolan just turned 3 years old. He loves trains, he lives and breaths them. It's basically all he got for Christmas. Thomas and Friends can do no wrong for him. We have two different types of train systems in the house, wooden rails are upstairs & his motorized trains are in the living room. They basically take up the whole living room.
Nolan still isn't potty trained. We are trying. He will sit, he did go (number 1) one time, we had an accident & that was the end of that. He tried again this morning when he woke up with a dry diaper I knew this was a sign. But nothing happened after 6-10 minutes of sitting.
He really has a temper. He gets very angry, very quickly. He just screams when he gets mad too. And he tries to hit sometimes. That part seems to be normal. And he normally doesn't actually hurt anyone. So that's good. But I hate the yelling.
Grayson - he is currently into Pokémon. trading cards are everywhere, and he would like his birthday party to be bowling with a Pokémon theme.
Minecraft is the other number one thing in his life. Always playing, or watching videos of other people playing. Oh, and LEGOS. There are more LEGOS than anything else in the house. And playing card games is a go-to right now. War and Go Fish.
Grayson is very sensitive. He cares quickly, he gets upset quickly, he worries what everyone else is going to think. The big problem with him is the not listening. If he his doing something and is asked to stop, he will laugh & not stop many times. And he will keep at it up until the point he gets yelled at. And then he cries because he is very sensitive. And I worry that he worries he is yelled at "all the time", but I can only repeat myself so many times to stop doing something before I yell. I really can have a short fuse.
Overall I have happy and healthy kids. I worry they aren't learning enough, or doing enough. And I guess that's normal. I'm hoping that 2016 is a great year for them!
