Do you think that doctors have to take a test in medical school that teaches them to write terribly? I do. I mean, how in the world did they get through life writing like they do in the first place? Someone had to say to them, "No, no. That is way to neat... make the word look like one line with a bunch of bumps, you don't need people to really understand what you want!"
I had to get blood work done today. Nothing exciting, no new Baby Z's coming in 9 months. Just some basic thyroid blood work. And something else, I still don't know what that something else was. My blood was drawn at 7:15am, way before the doctor's office is open to help the poor lady taking my blood. She was going to start calling at 9am to figure out what she just took all that blood for. Bless her heart, I wish her all the luck in the world that she gets an answer.
Now, as for my poor arm, she ended up taking like 6 viles of blood to make sure she had enough & I wouldn't have to go back to give her more. Sadly, I have a feeling a bunch of it is going to go to waste. But, if it keeps me from having to be stuck again for the next 6 months, it's alright by me!
In other news - my son is 14 months old and likes to play 'itsy bitsy spider'. Cutest.thing.ever.

Some New Grayson Things
So, Grayson still isn't really talking. He says a few words, but nothing consistantly and in general doesn't seem to be interested in repeating things I say to him.
Though, I have learned that he does understand me and he can follow directions! Last night he was cuddling with me and being all cute, I whispered in his ear "go give daddy a big hug". He left me, walked over to where Steve was sitting and gave him a hug! It was so damn cute.
Then, when he was done eating his fruit snacks I said, "that goes in the trash can. The trash can is in the kitchen". I had to say it 2-3 times, then he walked away, into the kitchen - I followed behind him & he walked right up to the trash can and tried to open it! I opened it for him, and he put his trash inside.
I couldn't believe it, my 13 month old is just too smart. And too cute. It really is amazing how well he is learning.
