That is how I would discribe our family day yesterday. It was one of those days I wish I could bottle up and experience any time I wanted to.
Our day started at Sesame Place. From 10am to 2pm we went on rides, dry and water stuff. Caught Elmo's World and just enjoyed each other's company. I can not explain well enough how great of a day it was. Grayson really took to the "lazy river" ride they have. We went around 3 times!!
After nap time out back we all went. We put Grayson's pool up and just hung out playing in the water, eating snacks and just goofing around. Then it was chalk time! Grayson had never played with chalk before, he was drawing shapes on the sidewalk and having us guess what he drew.
Then we got water ice.
Then we went to the play ground. We found a very tiny frog hopping around. We caught him and took him back to the little water area were we normal go to watch the frogs. Then we had a walk around the neighborhood.
One of the things Grayson loves to do outside is find a hill, lay down and roll down the hill. He smiles and laughs the entire time.
Home for dinner (chicken, white rice & green beans). Then it was a fun and playful bathtime followed by bedtime.
I really hope every weekend this summer is like this. I want to have quality time with my little family. It may not be a lot of time, but I want every second to really count.
